    Two Automated Platforms for students training and the development of scientific experimentations


    First System Presentation :

    This production system is composed of a eight axes robot and a conveyor system. It is controlled by three PLCs related through a low-level network (Siemens PLCs and MPI Network). There is also a Supervisory-Control and Data-Acquisition System yielding real time information on the system.

    Objectives :
    This system is available for teaching and research projects.
    Thanks to this system the engineer students learn the basic skills on the automatic control and the data-acquisition on automatized systems.
    Researchers can use this system to evaluate performance of innovative control approaches. And also this system can be use to automatize some tasks, such as data-acquisition for experiments with plant (see project (e.g., PhenoTIC Project)

        

     

    Second System Presentation :

    This system is a workshop system composed of a two five axes robot, a conveyor conveyor system and two machines, a lathe and a milling machine. It is controlled by two PLCs related through a low-level network (Schneider PLCs,TCP/Modbus Network). There is also a Supervisory-Control and Data-Acquisition System yielding real time information on the system.

    Objectives :
    This system is available for teaching and research projects.
