Nicolas DELANOUE - "Optimal Control Via Occupation Measures and Interval Analysis"
In this lecture, we present a method based on occupation measures to compute a guaranteed lower bound to an optimal control problem. Following Vinter approach, the optimal control problem is formulate into a linear programming problem of infinite dimension (measure Theory). Thank to Interval arithmetic, this linear programming problem can be approximate, in a reliable way. Finally, its solution gives a lower bound to the optimal cost. Examples will illustrate the principle of the methodology.

Vinicius Mariano GONÇALVES - "The tropical regulation problem"
In this talk the tropical (max-plus) regulation problem will be presented. This is the mathematical formulation of the problem of guaranteeing some time specifications in Timed Event Graphs. The recent developments in this setting will be given, making the connection with the also recently-developed tropical spectral theory. Aiming for future developments, the theoretical and practical challenges that remain to be surpassed will also be shown.
