The "Information, Signal, Image and Life Sciences" group is interested in information processing at the interface with physics, as well as in the processing and analysis of images and signals in relation to the life sciences (medical and plant applications).
The aims are both methodological, technological and clinical and the finalities are interpretation and decision support. For the medical aspects, the applied objective concerns the diagnosis of pathologies and a better understanding of medical data. Two areas of equal importance are addressed: cardiovascular and neurology. For aspects related to the plant domain, the applied objective concerns the development and operation of an instrumentation and imaging platform for plants ("Phenotic" platform).

We are orienting our work along three axes:

  •      scientific concepts
  •      their implementation through the development of software tools and virtual environments
  •      application to the field of life sciences.

The scientific concepts can be broken down into three aspects, as shown in the figure below:
