Research Project
The objective of this thesis is the analysis and processing of images of living organisms. More specifically, image and video analysis (filtering, segmentation, feature extraction, tracking) and pattern recognition and machine learning (connectionist, statistical and structural approaches). Thanks to the solid expertise in the development of imaging systems for plant phenotyping of the LARIS laboratory and the expertise in the field of optical instrumentation and imaging for plants with a specific interest in the study of plant pathogens of the research group led by David Rousseau.
