Background
This research falls within the field of resilience engineering in healthcare. It aims to better understand the relationship between human behavior and system resilience. It combines a study of the social representations of a specific group—state-certified operating room nurses (IBODE)—with a particular focus on IBODE I.T.U. (Itinérants Territoires Ultramarins) in French Guiana, with an analysis of the system’s resilience. The objective is to develop a tool and analyze resilience capacities at different levels of the system, with a view toward an integrated approach to adaptation and decision-making processes.
