Project Description
Work with adolescents and young adults (AJA) and relevant stakeholders to optimize short sexual health education videos in order to identify presentation characteristics associated with greater acceptability, understanding, credibility, and perceived usefulness, and to facilitate access to reliable information after cancer.
The project is based on a Taguchi experimental design, which allows for a structured study of the effect of several presentation characteristics while limiting the number of video versions to be evaluated. The videos will convey the same core messages but will vary in terms of whether or not they feature a recognizable healthcare professional, their duration—ranging from short to longer formats, approximately 45 to 90 seconds—the use of multimodal content combining audio, dynamic visuals, and text or subtitles, as well as whether or not they include a short narrative or testimonial.
